Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws and will  be conducted with volunteers during class, If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.  For more info, email gretta.perkins@ictech.edu or sandra.girdner@ictech.edu

Prep for the CMA certification exam. $100 exam fee included. Prerequisites: proficient in reading, speaking and understanding English, HS diploma or GED, current CNA card with CNA work experience (6 months at least), proof of TB skin test, social security card, and government photo ID. You must be fully paid or have a signed payment plan agreement on file at least 7 days prior to the class start date. This class requires a $60 non-refundable fee, which includes application processing and a criminal background check. Registration is pending the results of your background check. Our 123 hour class is a combination of online and in-person learning. The first and last class along with 3 Saturdays will require attendance in person at the Muskogee Campus.  

It is designed to provide you knowledge about the skills expected of pharmacy technicians. You will learn history, terminology, laws & standards of the profession. Additionally, you will learn how to classify drugs, calculate conversions, differenitiate between types of medications, & prepare for the PTCB certification exam. Earn 8 hours of OSDH-approved continuing education. License renewal application and completion cerficate provided. Prerequisite: Current CNA license.
